      After three-week break, taken Аna for recovery from injuries, she take part on tournament J&S Cup in Warsaw. Sharply having added in rating, Аnа immediately has fallen into the main draw of tournament, and here her much does not lucky with draw.
   In first round Ana play against Martina Sucha from Slovakia (61th number in WTA rating ). But if Ana win this match, in the second round here her there is be met with top seeded Amelie Mauresmo .

  Brilliantly started Ana on tournament J&S Cup in Warsaw - 6:0 6:0. The whole 45 minutes was necessary her to crash the Martina Sucha  from Slovakia.

   Next round Ana waits meeting with 3d seeded player of this tournament Vera Zvonareva. Earlier they did not meet .

Аnа with shine has lead also the second match on courts of Warsaw. From first minutes of game it has grasped the initiative in game. Its impacts were very sharp, under a back line or cross-country leaving. She droves Vera on all court, that only had time to beat off. On Vera service Аnа actively attacked, and simply knocked out the opponent - 6:2 in the first set.

     At the start of the second Vera got more aggressive, moving Ana about and hitting some big forehands. Ana also made a lot of errors, Vera has led 2-0. On Vera service game turned out very long and persistent, Аnа began to level gradually a situation in game: 3-2 in favour of Vera. Here again Vera there was any failure, two games successively it loses under a zero. Аnа, having felt affinity of a victory, has started to smile, but Vera on the contrary did not cry nearly. Having added still power, Аnа has confidently finished a match to a victory 6:2 6:4.

"I just tried to play my game, to attack her and get a little bit into court and get her on the move, and I think I did that pretty well," said Ivanovic, who added she was surprised at her rapid progress.

"It's taken a lot of work. I've practiсed very hard the last few months, and I'm pretty happy to see the results so fast. Now I'm going to practiсe even harder to continue to improve my game."

   Next round Ana waits meeting with 6d seeded player of this tournament Nathalie Dechy. Earlier they did not meet . 

    In doubles Ана together with Tina  have begun unhappily. At score 6:1 1:0 in favour of Klaudia Jans and Alicja Rosolska match there was  interrupted and put off to friday.

Ana Ivanovic advanced to the semifinal at the J&S Cup in Warsaw. She beat  Natalie Dechy 7:6(2) 6:4.

    In doubles Аnа together with Tina Krizan lost to Klaudia Jans and Alicja Rosolska 1:6 7:6(2) 5:7.

   Henin-Hardenne downed  Ana Ivanovic 6-4, 7-5 at the Warszawianka Tennis Centre.  The match was very determined , but Ana made more errors and lost.    

Ivanovic, who has jumped into the top 40 after starting the year at 97, made Henin-Hardenne work very hard for her victory in a battle between two unseeded players.

Her heavy forehand kept the Belgian under pressure throughout the one hour 50-minute contest and she threatened to take the contest to a third set as Henin-Hardenne struggled to close out the match.

The Belgian lost a match point at 5-4 in the second set when she netted a forehand, and then threw her racquet to the ground in frustration after netting a smash to drop her serve.

But she broke to lead 6-5 and although Ivanovic saved a second match point, hitting deep to the baseline, a relieved Henin-Hardenne finally closed out the match at her third attempt.

"It was a good fight and maybe I should have won the match earlier but she kept fighting," said Henin-Hardenne. "I agree I made some stupid mistakes in the second set at the end of the match, but it's better to do these kind of mistakes than be three metres behind my baseline.

"I was playing much better in the second set but couldn't finish the points, but I was pleased with the reaction I had, to stay focused and keep fighting. Maybe two years ago I would have lost this second set. My attitude is better right now."

Ivanovic was gracious in defeat.

"It was a great experience and I think I had my chances in both sets," said the Serbian rising star. "Unfortunately I didn't use them, but it's something to work on and I'm looking forward to the next match.

"I think I didn't move that well today. I made a lot of mis-hits on both backhand and forehand, and I think I should have got more into the court and put her under pressure."
